Who can become a partner?

Any established comic reseller, collector, or small dealer with an inventory of comics to sell. We review each application individually to maintain catalog quality.

How does the commission work?

Comic Repo takes a 7.5% platform fee on each completed sale — charged on the book's sale price only, never on shipping or tax. Payment processing is included. You keep the rest. Your exact rate is always visible in your partner dashboard.

You choose your payout schedule: weekly, biweekly, or monthly. Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect directly to your bank account. A minimum balance may apply. Only orders that have been shipped and confirmed as fulfilled by the Comic Repo admin team are included in each settlement payout — unfulfilled or cancelled orders are not counted.

Who is responsible for shipping orders to customers?

You are. As a partner, you are solely responsible for physically fulfilling every order that contains your products — picking, packing, and shipping to the customer's address in a timely manner. Comic Repo handles the storefront, payment processing, and customer communications, but the physical fulfillment of your inventory is entirely your obligation. You should have a reliable shipping workflow in place before listing your first item.

What happens if I don't fulfill an order?

Unfulfilled orders are withheld from your settlement until they are confirmed as shipped. If orders remain unshipped for an unreasonable period, Comic Repo may issue refunds to affected customers on your behalf, and those orders will be permanently excluded from any future payout. Persistent non-fulfillment or customer complaints may result in suspension or termination of your partner account.

Do customers know my products are from a partner?

No. Partner products appear alongside all other listings with no special indicators. Comic Repo is the merchant of record for all transactions.

Can Comic Repo change the commission rate?

Yes, but we will give you at least 30 days' written notice before any rate change takes effect. You'll have the opportunity to remove your listings before the new rate applies if you choose. Custom rates negotiated for high-volume partners follow the same notice process.

What happens if my account is suspended?

If your account is suspended, your listings will be hidden and payouts placed on hold while we review the issue. We will contact you within 3 business days with the reason and an opportunity to respond. Suspensions can result from unfulfilled orders, misrepresented listings, chargebacks, or other violations of the Partner Agreement.

What happens when I leave the partner program?

You can close your partner account at any time by emailing partners@comicrepo.com. Your listings will be removed within 5 business days. Any orders placed before your account closes must still be fulfilled by you. Earnings for orders that were already delivered will be paid out on your next scheduled settlement date. Earnings for undelivered orders will be held until fulfillment is confirmed — if items remain unshipped, those funds will be used to refund the customers.

What happens to my listings if I'm not approved?

Nothing — you haven't listed anything yet. Applying has no effect on your buyer account.

How long does approval take?

We typically review applications within 2–5 business days. You'll receive an email when a decision is made.

Is there a formal partner agreement?

Yes. By submitting an application and using the partner dashboard, you agree to the Comic Repo Partner Agreement, which covers commission, fulfillment obligations, IP licensing, termination, and other terms.
